About Us

We offer a family-run home daycare and boarding for dogs in the Blackhorse Road area, E17. We welcome dogs of all abilities, including those who might need some extra care. We started Hounds of the Trees because we found it difficult to find trusted and licensed boarding for our 15-year-old family dog Pontufa, who has IVDD, hearing and vision loss. We have 20 years of dog rescue experience and a background in animal nutrition.

We are fully insured, DBS-checked and licensed by Waltham Forest Council (LBWF/566891/26).

Daycare

Regular & ad hoc guests welcome

£48 per day

Our dogs enjoy structured days of play, activities, rest, and walks. Open from 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.*

Boarding

(Currently paused for new clients - please enquire to be added to our waiting list)

£65 per night (up to 24 hours)

Dogs enjoy structured days of play, activities, rest and walks plus evenings of home comforts and calming enrichment.

*Out-of-hours care usually accommodated with an associated fee.

Currently pick up and drop off are not included in order to avoid dogs spending extended time in vehicles during collective pickup and drop offs. We are conveniently located 5 minutes’ walk from Blackhorse Road tube station.
